Cellar Cooling
Prevent Beer Barrels from Spoiling
With Horsham’s’ extreme heat, a local publican was finding that his cellar which stored beer barrels was reaching a temperature in excess of 55 degrees Celsius.
As a result a certain percentage of beer barrels would spoil therefore the publican asked for our advice on the most cost effective way to reduce the temperature.
After small amount of research we found that a basic domestic Mitsubishi wall mounted split system was an ideal choice.
We performed a price comparison between the system and the cost of beer barrels spoiling. The airconditioner paid for itself over and beyond in the first summer, tests also showed that not only preventing the beer barrels from spoiling but made other electrical appliances run more efficient and had fewer breakdowns.
